Attack on Iran

Today I call on Pete Domenici to make clear to the people of New Mexico that George Bush does not have his approval to launch a pre-emptive attack on Iran.
The Bush Administration used lies and deception to attack Iraq. There was little Congressional oversight. Now the Bush administration is trying to drum up support for a military strike against Iran. Given the track record of this administration, our representatives need to speak up.
Senator Jim Webb (D-Virginia) has introduced a bill that prohibits the use of funds for military operations in Iran. His statement is here.
I urge Pete Domenici to support the Webb resolution.
